Scuba diving the Caribbean at Black Rock Canyons off Guanaja Honduras!
This canyon was created by volcanic action. With the conglomeration of caves, tunnels, deep cracks and crevices it is one of the most exciting dives around Guanaja. It's not uncommon to turn a corner, or come out of a tunnel and come across a sleeping shark or a big moray eel lounging in a hole. Bring your black light for the caves and tunnels.
Scuba divers and snorkelers rave about the rich and extensive underwater environment of Guanaja.

Scuba Diving Guanaja
One of Guanaja's "old favorite" dives is the wreck of the shrimper Don Enrique. Located next to an interesting wall that drops 80 feet to a sandy bottom, the bottom slopes gradually deeper, and at about 90 feet you come across the boat resting right-side-up on the bottom. The mast still looms upwards to about 50 feet. Both the wreck & the wall abound with life. Spotted eagle rays are common to this site.
